Sugar, Spice and... Sailor Scouts?

I wanted to celebrate those two iconic titans of kick ass girly action! As a designer, the instantly recognisable designs of these characters have always appealed to me but it’s the core idea of these shows which won me over.
With these shows, girls (and by extension women) were finally being portrayed in cartoons as the heroes, the ones who got things done.
Even Princess Leia needed rescuing in every Star Wars movie, but these characters do the saving and had fun doing it!
